Hack into New "Ghost in the Shell" Trailer
Bandai is pleased to present a new trailer from its upcoming third-person action game for the PlayStation 2, "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex." An adrenaline-packed adventure based on anime legend Masamune Shirow's landmark series, the game features three different playable characters, over 20 minutes of beautifully rendered CGI cut scenes and a gripping storyline rooted in "Ghost in the Shell" lore. Set for release on November 8, 2004, "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex" is rated "M" for Mature by the ESRB, with a suggested retail price of $49.99.
"Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex" immerses players into the cyber-crime riddled Tohoku Autonomous Region, a metropolis lost between technology and humanity. Fighting through waves of cyber-terrorists as "Major" Motoko Kusanagi, Section 9 officer Batou or Think Tank Tachikoma, players must utilize bone-crushing martial arts, a futuristic arsenal of firearms and explosives and the groundbreaking ability to hack into fallen enemies and nearby machinery to bring peace to the urban expanses of the future. "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex" also features a multiplayer mode for up to four players, with pulse-pounding competitive or cooperative play modes across a number of classic "Ghost in the Shell" locales.
