Konami of America Inc. announced today that it will release Power Pro Tennis – WTA Tour Edition (working title) for the Sony PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system and the Nintendo Game Boy Advance in the Spring of 2002. Konami’s Power Pro Tennis – WTA Tour Edition is the first video game to utilize the Women’s Tennis Association license. The PlayStation 2 version of the game will carry a suggested retail price of $49.99 while the Game Boy Advance version will retail for $39.99 when they are released in early 2002.

Power Pro Tennis – WTA Tour Edition for the Game Boy Advance provides solid gameplay and portable convenience. Featuring 20 WTA players competing in 10 locations around the world this is the most realistic Game Boy Advance tennis game. Both versions are equipped with a four-player mode that will have you serving up fierce doubles competition.
