Rush To Win As Midway Announces Mtv And Mtv2's L.A. Rush Promotional Sweepstakes

Two Grand Prize Winners Each to Receive a Fully Pimped Out and Juiced Up 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI

CHICAGO, October 5, 2005 Midway Games Inc. (NYSE: MWY), a leading interactive entertainment industry publisher and developer, today announced MTV's L.A. RUSH Watch 'n' Win sweepstakes and MTV2's L.A. RUSH sweepstakes, as well as MTV Networks' lineup of promotional activities on-air on MTV, MTV2 and online with MTV.com and MTV2.com to coincide with Midway’s launch of the action-packed arcade-style racing thriller, L.A. RUSH. Two lucky grand prize winners will win a completely pimped out 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI courtesy of MTV and MTV2. L.A. RUSH is scheduled to ship on October 10th for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and the Xbox® video game system from Microsoft, and December 12th for PC.

MTV's L.A. RUSH "Sneak Peek" will take place on October 16th during MTV's Sunday Stew, featuring an exclusive preview for L.A RUSH. MTV's L.A. RUSH Watch 'n' Win sweepstakes is to begin on October 14, to coincide with the "Sneak Peek". Entrants must log on to http://www.mtv.com/asm/larushgame and fill in an entry form, including trivia questions about L.A. RUSH, to be entered into a random drawing for a chance to win a fully pimped out and juiced up 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI. The winner of the sweepstakes vehicle will be announced on MTV at a later date. MTV2 will be promoting L.A. RUSH through a number of initiatives including the premiere of brand new Video Mod featuring Twista and his song, "Hit The Floor," on October 10th as a part of Sucker Free Week. Twista, featured as a character in L.A. RUSH, will also host MTV2's T-Minus Hip Hop Countdown during the week of October 24th and promote the game during one segment per day.
