New Urban Reign™ Screens and Videos Hit the Streets

Namco Hometek Inc. today released a brand-new batch of screenshots and videos from Urban Reign™, the upcoming white-knuckle street fighting game. Developed by a team with members from previous TEKKEN® and SOULCALIBUR® projects, Urban Reign is rated T for Teen by the ESRB and is available exclusively for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system on September 13th, 2005.

In Urban Reign, players take to the streets to help “tough guy for hire” Brad Hawk bring some inner city justice to the rival gangs of Green Harbor. Once peaceful neighborhoods have turned into battlegrounds, and it’s up to players to make things right through a series of 100 missions featuring no-holds-barred, bare-knuckle brawls. Players can team up with a computer-controlled partner and dish out justice with devastating two-player combo maneuvers. Destructible environments, unique fighting styles and 30 weapons keep the action coming. Sixty playable characters, including Paul Phoenix and Marshall Law from the TEKKEN series, and multiplayer modes such as four-player head-to-head brawls, offer extensive replayability.
