THQ and SEGA have announced plans that will allow SEGA to have priority publishing rights for THQ titles in Japan. THQ has not, to date, had one publisher for its titles in Japan. The deal, announced Friday, will kick off with the release of Juiced and Destroy All Humans! on the PS2, with both titles set to release in early 2006.

This is not the first time that SEGA and THQ have worked in partnership, though previously the agreement centered around titles released in the United States for the Game Boy Advance.. In late 2003 the two companies announced an extension of their previous publishing agreeement (for the Sonic Battle game) and as a result two new Sonic the Hedgehog titles were released for the Game Boy Advance in 2004.
