NAMCO BANDAI Games Green Lights Two New Trailers for IGPX
Based on the anime series on Cartoon Network, “IGPX” (Immortal Grand Prix) for PlayStation (R) 2 computer entertainment system is a unique combat racing title that pits two teams of three mechs over 60 miles of ever-changing track. The “IGPX” anime series is a unique collaboration between Cartoon Network and Production I.G., known for universally lauded “Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex” and the animation sequence in “Kill Bill: Vol. 1.” IGPX is currently running on Cartoon Network’s popular Toonami Sunday line-up.

In the year 2049, the Immortal Grand Prix, high speed racing where two teams of three mechs battle it out on the track, is the most popular sport in the world. The underdogs, Team Satomi, will challenge professional racers like Team Skylark, the all-female team from France, and Team Sledge Mamma, three legendary pilots who are known for their racing skill as well as a reputation for cheating on and off the field. With 100 customizable mecha parts and 70 types of tracks, players can test four different modes of racing while crashing opposing team onto the roller-coaster like courses rife with deadly obstacles. Featured in the gameplay is Team Satomi!
