High Voltage Software Spotlighted Throughout The Industry

High Voltage Games And Employees Are Shone Off At E3 And Trade Publications

(May 20, 2005 – Hoffman Estates, IL) High Voltage Software, a leading third-party developer of video games, was proud to see a few of its games highlighted at this year’s E3. High Voltage also had two of its employees asked to be featured in top industry trade publications.

At this year’s annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) several of High Voltage’s games were featured at the pre-E3 press conferences by Nintendo and Microsoft. Real-time game footage of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, published by Take Two’s Global Star Software, was featured in both press conferences. Zathura, published by Take Two’s 2K Games, was featured in the Microsoft Xbox upcoming games reel. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Zathura were also shown on many booths throughout the E3 show floor and have received a lot of attention.

In addition, two High Voltage Software employees were recently featured in two industry trade publications. Jesse Helton, Vice President of Software Development, was asked by Game Developer magazine to give some insight on the future price point for video games. His quote was one of three the magazine chose to feature in their May “Heads Up Display” section. When asked about being selected to appear in the magazine Jesse Helton replied, “The price issue is something that is going to have to be addressed soon as Microsoft plans to release its Xbox 360 this year. It was nice to be able to share my thoughts with the industry as a whole.”

Sheri Pocilujko, Corporate Communications Director for High Voltage Software, was also featured in the Member Spotlight in the recently distributed 2004 Annual Report for the International Game Developers Association. Sheri was selected as one of three members out of thousands to be ‘spotlighted’ for her hard work and volunteerism in the IGDA. “It was an honor to be recognized in their annual report. IGDA gives so many opportunities for people to help grow the industry and I’m proud to be a part of that,” said Sheri Pocilujko in response to the report highlight.

“We pride ourselves on getting top talent that creates top quality games. Being placed in the limelight like this proves that our formula is working,” said Vice President of Creative Content Eric Nofsinger.
