Atlus U.S.A., Inc. announces musical partnership with neo-punk band Tsunami Bomb for Disgaea: Hour of Darkness

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness to feature the song “The Invasion from Within”

Irvine, CA May 14, 2003 – Atlus U.S.A., Inc., has today announced an exclusive partnership with the punk band Tsunami Bomb to feature the song “The Invasion from Within” in Disgaea: Hour of Darkness for the PlayStation®2 Computer Entertainment System.

The English version will feature a modified soundtrack featuring the song “The Invasion from Within” from Tsunami Bomb along with an all new English voice over cast. The Japanese option will feature an unedited version of the Japanese game with all of the original music and voices intact. The song will also be featured in a downloadable trailer from www.atlus.com. 

The band issued the following statement. “We have a couple of video game fanatics in our band, so we are extremely excited to contribute "The Invasion From Within" to the soundtrack of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. Disgaea: Hour of Darkness Synopsis The Netherworld – a realm darker than the deepest abyss, located far beneath where mortals tread. It is a cursed land where evil reigns and foul beings dwell. Nobody knows its whereabouts, but everybody fears its existence...

The story takes place two years after the death of King Krichevskoy, the ruler of the Netherworld. His son Laharl awakens from a long sleep, unaware of his father's death.
