New "Dead to Rights II" Screenshots: There Goes the Neighborhood
Namco Hometek today released 10 new screenshots from its upcoming third person action game, “Dead to Rights II.” An explosive cop drama, the game gives players unprecedented freedom in dispatching lowlife thugs through an innovative spherical slow motion attack system. “Dead to Rights II” will be available for the PlayStation2 and Xbox this April.
Preceding the events of the original “Dead to Rights,” “Dead to Rights II” finds Grant City once again under the thumb of organized crime, as a powerful gang lord is holding an important city official hostage. Sent in to solve the crime and clean up the streets, veteran cop Jack Slate and his K-9 companion Shadow will have to infiltrate the meanest neighborhoods in the city to blow the cover on a terrible spiral of corruption and lies. Busting heads and taking names has never been easier for Jack and Shadow, who utilize a bone crunching selection or ranged and melee weapons, including meat cleavers, baseball bats, assault rifles, shotguns and rocket launchers. Combined with vicious real-time attacks from Shadow and an all-new assortment of lethal disarms, “Dead to Rights II” promises to be one of the most hard-hitting games of 2005.
