Atari's ‘Driver: Parallel Lines’ Soundtrack Exclusively Available on the iTunes Music Store
Premiere Hollywood-Style Action-Driving Title Featuring Era-Defining Music from the 1970’s and Today, With Legendary Material and New Exclusive Productions, Now Available for Download
Atari, Inc. announced that the soundtrack from the premiere Hollywood-style action-driving video game, Driver: Parallel Lines, is now available for download exclusively at the iTunes Music store, the world’s most popular music download store. Music lovers and gamers alike can now download exclusive tracks to their iPods, Macs and PCs. The iTunes Music Store (www.itunes.com) will feature the Driver: Parallel Lines soundtrack and will also link consumers to a Driver: Parallel Lines page that features the music and links to the atari.com/driver web site.

Driver: Parallel Lines features over 70 legendary tracks which bridge the game's dual gameplay eras - 1970s and today - and includes a number of exceptional world-renowned artists from the worlds of hip hop, punk rock and dance, providing brand new music exclusively for Driver: Parallel Lines. The music and artists have been chosen to reflect the two distinct gameplay eras as well as New York City, which has been the inspiration and source to so much of the world's music.
Working with Nimrod Productions Ltd, one of the most established audio production companies in the video game industry, Atari has selected some of the top artists to supply new exclusive material for Driver: Parallel Lines including Public Enemy, Grandmaster Flash, Suicide, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arthur Baker, Mylo, Paul Oakenfold, Lifesavas featuring Vernon Reid and the Audio Bullys. In addition to the brand new exclusives, the two eras will be underscored by a remarkable roster of legendary music, with David Bowie, Blondie, Iggy Pop, WAR, The Temptations, Funkadelic, Marvin Gaye, Parliament, and Average White Band amongst those scoring the 1970's era, and bands including The Roots, LCD Soundsystem, TV on the Radio.

21 of the songs from the game are collected on the Soundtrack for Driver: Parallel Lines. It is available exclusively on iTunes for $.99 per song.
Developed by award-winning studio Reflections Interactive, Driver: Parallel Lines is the next installment of Atari’s legendary action-driving franchise. Players can modify and juice up cars while engaging in the most thrilling Hollywood-style car chases ever across a free roaming, stylized New York City with over 35 diverse missions, no loading times, incredibly realistic driving physics, and a brand new story set in 1978 and 2006.
