TDK MEDIACTIVE TRANSPORTS STAR TREK SHATTERED UNIVERSE TO CONSOLE GAMERS
Star Trek game to beam in stores summer 2003.
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. – January
15, 2003 – A new constellation has been identified in federation space as TDK
Mediactive, Inc. (OTC: BB TDKM) announced today the summer 2003 release of Star
Trek Shattered Universe on the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system.
“We are excited to be associated with the Star Trek and its millions of fans,”
stated Vincent Bitetti, chief executive officer, TDK Mediactive. “Star Trek’s
popularity continues to enjoy huge success with the recent major motion picture
release of Star Trek Nemesis and the popularity of Star Trek Enterprise on UPN.”
Star Trek Shattered Universe is unlike anything the Star Trek fan has ever
encountered. Developed by StarSphere, this highly anticipated title vows to be a
dark and edgy, high-energy space combat action game, set in the sinister mirror
universe as seen in Star Trek: The Original Series®’ classic era setting. Gamers
will be challenged to adapt to a new reality where everything once familiar is
now a mere reflection– where the noble Federation is now an evil and relentless
foe.
Star Trek Shattered Universe is scheduled to release in the Summer of 2003 for
the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system.
