Nicktoons Movin' EyeToy Preview

 THQ is joining the EyeToy market and releasing a game based on Nickelodeon characters called Nicktoons (working title). There weren’t a lot of details, but there will be many different games (like the EyeToy Play disc) starring famous Nickelodeon characters. 

I played a bit of a SpongeBob bowling game, and it was a lot of fun. The ball is at the end of a bowling lane, and you can see yourself in the ball. On either side of you there are arrows pointing left and right, and a line swings back and forth down the lane. Wherever it stops is the direction the ball is going to roll, and you have to rub the arrows in the direction you need to roll the ball to compensate for the throw. Whichever direction the ball is thrown is random, so you have to be ready to roll it either way to get a good score. 

This game has a lot of promise seeing as how the EyeToy is so much fun. I had fun playing the bowling game, and it was only one of many. Check back for more info as it’s released.
