Kids love gross things.  Butt Ugly Martians, a cartoon on the Nickelodeon Network, is all about a few Martians whose awkward behaviors and peculiar looks on Earth.  In Butt Ugly Martians: Zoom or Doom for the PS2, the little guys are involved in simple cart racing that should keep kids entertained.

The Emperor of Mars is a little discouraged that the invasion of Mars has not gone according to plan, so he decides to award control of the invading force to whomever can win the Emperor’s Cup, a series of races across several environments.  The adorable little Butt Uglies, who have befriended Earth and its inhabitants, are set on winning the race and making sure Earth is safe. 

There are initially five racers to drive with and two more to unlock along the way.  Racers have nine courses to navigate with reverse modes on each track for what is in essence 18 drivable courses.  The environments range from icy mountainous tracks to underwater see-through tunnels.  Along each courses are power-ups, turbos, and weapons ala Mario Kart to make the race a little more interesting.  The other racers have weapons too, and they are not afraid to use them.
