Way of the Samurai to Hit American Shores Soon

Bam! Entertainment is bringing the Japanese top-seller, Way of the Samurai, to America and the Playstation 2 this June.  Way of the Samurai is a third-person samurai action game taking place in Japan in 1878, just when the numbers of the samurai were dwindling. 

A great feature of this game is its malleable storyline and gameplay. Players, based on their actions, can choose to be a productive member of society or a menace to the countryside, and each course has its repercussions. Slaughter innocent farmers and expect no help from the laymen. Join one of three clans, and expect to be hated by the others. The multitude of paths culminates in six entirely different endings and a myriad of encounters.

Based around samurai sword-fighting, Way of the Samurai features over 200 unique fighting stances and moves and 40 different swords. The game is incredibly easy on the eyes, with realistic effects for the rural Japanese landscape. And possibly the best feature? Customize your character at the onset of the game with various dress and hairstyles. Way of the Samurai looks to be a promising title for the Playstation 2.
