Eidos Interactive, a leading developer and publisher of interactive entertainment, today announced that EOE: Eve Of Extinction is currently in development for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system.

Description

EOE: Eve Of Extinction is a single-player fighting / adventure game in which the gamer plays the role of Josh Calloway, an employee of the multi-national conglomerate Wisdom Inc. The company is a pioneer in technology advancement through the manipulation of DNA, cloning, and genetic food modification. Josh stumbles upon proof that Wisdom's good intentions are nothing but a front to cover-up their main objective: To create a deadly weapon capable of mass destruction. And they have succeeded. Wisdom has successfully fused the essence of a human soul with a crystal, and code-named the weapon Legacy. After learning of Wisdom's evil intent, Josh flees with his girlfriend Eliel, but they are captured and Eliel's soul is forced to become the core of the most powerful Legacy made to date. Sworn to stop Wisdom at all costs, Josh wages an epic struggle to save his girlfriend and stop a madman from destroying the world. And so the battle begins…
