Video game publisher Codemasters announced today that MTV?s master DJ Funkmaster Flex will be the official US spokesperson behind its forthcoming title: MTV Music Generator 2 for Sony?s PlayStation’ 2

Description

MTV Music Generator 2 is the only music-generating product for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system. It is unique and simple to play and includes eight musical genres featuring rock, pop, garage, trance, house, indie and R&B. Players can choose from literally thousands of prerecorded riffs to compose and create their own music. In addition, players can now import external sounds including their own voice with addition of the MTV Music Generator 2 Sampler Kit. This is the first time that the USB port has been used for audio sampling. Its predecessor, MTV Music Generator for PSX launched in the U.S. to rave reviews, and won the Sony Innovation Award in 2000. MTV Music Generator 2 also features one of the most sought after DJ's in the country, MTV's own DJ Funkmaster Flex. Flex is host of MTV's "Direct Effect" show and host of two top radio shows in both LA and New York. Flex will intro the game and has created a track which up-and-coming DJ's can remix, edit, and modify to their own liking!
